eBay Fee Calculator 2026 — Final Value Fee & Profit Calculator

eBay added a $0.30 per-order fee in February 2025 on top of final value fees and managed payments — a flat charge that hits every sale regardless of item price. On a $12 thrift find, that $0.30 is 2.5% of revenue before you pay 13.25% FVF and 2.9% processing. Resellers who built spreadsheets before 2025 are systematically overestimating margin. This calculator includes the per-order fee, category-specific FVF rates, and optional Store subscription discount.

Vintage Levi's 501 jeans (W32 L30), resale, $45 sale price

eBay seller FAQ

Starting February 2025, eBay charges a flat $0.30 per-order fee on every completed sale — in addition to final value fees and managed payments. It applies regardless of item price, making low-value flips ($10–$20) disproportionately affected. This calculator includes it on every run.

FVF ranges from 6.5% on electronics and watches to 15% on clothing. Sneakers over $150 drop to 8%; sneakers under $150 are 13%. FVF is calculated on the total amount the buyer pays, including shipping you charge.

eBay Store subscribers get a 1% FVF discount and more free listings. Basic Store costs $21.95/month — you need roughly 30+ clothing sales per month at $45 AOV to break even on the subscription alone. Use the Store toggle here to see your break-even unit count.
